Since 1986 Machiel has been active in banking. First for ABN AMRO, then Rabobank and NIBC in the Netherlands, Asia and Europe. Throughout his career, he gained valuable experience in corporate and investment banking, bank management, lending, M&A and asset management. He initiated and supported the start of two corporate loan funds at NIBC for ABP (NPEX Ondernemersfonds) and for P&V/Vivium Insurance. Machiel is active in fintech and is well versed in integrating fintech solutions into lending operations.

Maarten started his career at Robeco, followed by ABN AMRO in the areas of asset management, structuring and risk management. He founded the CCQ Ondernemersdesk (now part of Credion) for SME finance (sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs) in 2009 and set up a funding vehicle for pubs. Most recently Maarten was partner at CPI: consultants in risk, finance and governance.
